Josh is settling in nicely with his foster family he is a handsome black boy who was four in April. The foster family says he is a lovely boy, he is house trained, walks beautifully on the lead and has been very good when meeting people and gets on well with the 10 year old in the family.
When out walking he has heard other dogs bark and does not react at all he just is curious. Josh is still being assessed with cats even though he was cat tested at the trainers the family cat has decided she wants nothing to do with this rather large “invader” even though she is dog savvy, it is early days her getting used to him and possibly with a bit of work with the cat and slow introductions he may be ok.
He’s very taken with his reflection, staring at it in the TV, toaster, window etc. He is affectionate and now wags his tail first thing in the morning and when he has been on his own for awhile he is pleased to see the family though he does not seem to mind being on his own.
The family decided o check how he is doing when they are not there they set up a camera to make sure he is ok and all you see in most part he’s contentedly assuming a variety of interesting sleeping positions, including the upside down pose yesterday.
