Sam

Sam is a shy and affectionate boy!

Gender: Male        Age:  2 years old

Shy Sam has been in foster care nearly two weeks now and lives with his foster mum, 13 year old son and fur brother Labradoodle, who he follows everywhere and picks up on all the cues, learning to be an inside pet.
He is very quiet and well mannered. He enjoys a daily walk but only for around 30 minutes max, and then dawdles home to plonk down back onto his bed.
Sam adores sleeping the day away, but prefers his own bed to couches or the humans’ beds.
Sam has very good social skills, he enjoys stopping to say hello at the park to all dogs big and small and is lovely to walk on the leash. He was delighted to get a bubble bath, enjoyed the warm water and wouldn’t be surprised if he’d love a swim in summer, he’s not afraid of it at all.
Sam is learning to accept hugs and cuddles, something he’s not had a lot of it seems, but is very affectionate once the trust has developed.
He has also been exceptional at toilet training, having had zero accidents inside!
The lovely photos taken of Sam have been done by 13 year old Ben.
Ben took these pictures in their back yard, where he enjoys the odd zoomie, but nothing overly strenuous for this gentle giant.
