Gender: Male Age: 3 years old
Three-year-old Baz AKA Basil has settled into home life after a bit of challenging start as living in the house was a bit confusing for Basil. With help from Magpie the family dog who showed him the ropes of family life, he has started to gain confidence.
The foster carers say he could go to full time workers, as long as he was given a good walk morning and night to get the beans out and had a doggo mate to play with during the day.
He loves to play, he loves fetch, fluffy toys, and zoomies. Basil enjoyed his first camping trip, he slept well in the tent and snoozed on a camp chair by the fire so if you are looking for an out doorsy hound Basil might be the one for you.
Basil could go with older dog savvy kids over the age of ten. Things are all still very new to Basil and his owners will need to be gentle with him and set boundaries. When asleep he can forget where he is and if woken suddenly can be quite frightened, he will need owners that are understanding of this which is why he would be better with older children.
Basil is toilet trained, and walks well on lead but is still learning commands around the house, this boy is full of potential and will make a perfect second doggo so if you think Basil might be right for you, please get in touch with our adoption coordinators.
