Age: 4 years old
4-year-old Lexi has been in foster care for a couple of weeks now and is already coming out of her shell and settling into home life nicely. Lexi is becoming more relaxed and confident both in and out of the home and walks nicely on the lead with minimal pulling (unless she finds something interesting to sniff).
Lexi has been polite when she has met several dogs in the neighbourhood and mostly appears to be curious/excited to meet them.
She loves her food and is very food motivated. She can be very excitable and will need ongoing positive training to correct this.
Lexi has been good with her toilet training and knows to go outside, however, she still currently needs to be reminded when to go as she has not quite figured out how to ask just yet.
The is lovely girl adores toys and loves to play with her ball, but after about 10 minutes of play, is happy to return to the couch and sleep for most of the day.
She is currently sharing her home with another male greyhound and would be best suited to a family who is home more often than not (or with another confident dog) and with slightly older children who can handle her excitement during play.
Everyone who meets Lexi falls in love with her soft fur, sweet face and friendly temperament and she will make a great addition to the right family.
NOT CAT TOLERANT.
