Age: 2 years old
Forrest is a confident boy who will be three in August.
His foster family say that he has settled into pet life beautifully.
He is very curious about the world and loves going for walks and down to the café strip for coffee.
Loud noises such as traffic or trains don’t seem to bother him, and he always has a tail wag for new people and situations.
He has met many children on his daily walks and is always calm and gentle around them.
Forrest likes meeting new dogs big or small, and even gets along with his boisterous staffy foster sister.
Saying that, Forrest would most likely enjoy being the only dog in the house or perhaps going with another grey. He loves being the centre of attention and getting all the pats from his foster parents.
Forrest learned the house rules within a few days of arriving. He’s very food motivated which makes training easy. He hasn’t been left for more than 2 hours by himself yet, but he hasn’t shown many signs of separation anxiety. With the right settling in period, he could probably go with full-time workers.
