An update on Tiny
Tiny thinks he has been forgotten and he sees all the other greyhounds finding forever homes, so here is an update on him.
He loves staying with his foster family but knows it is time to move out and find his own family
Tiny is excellent with the older grey in the family and they have stayed alone for up to six hours without any problems. So, we think Tiny would do well with a greyhound companion for company as he has a minor anxiety issue where he doesn’t like to be left alone.
There are no issues with food or toy playing and they are quite happy to check out each other’s bowls throughout the day as they are grazers even though they are fed separately.
They share water bowls, couches, toys. There haven’t been any issues at all.
When given treats, they both hop onto a couch each and eat their own treats.
He is very affectionate and sleeps with us in the room. He will sleep with you in the bed, but we do not allow this behavior as our bed is too small. So, he is happy with sleeping on his own bed in our room with us. He does loves to snuggle with you on the couch.
He loves his toys. We have bought him those harder material toys as he will take out the fluff from the soft toys, but he doesn’t seem interested in the hard toys. He loves all his soft toys, so we just chuck out the fluff. He doesn’t eat them just loves pulling them apart!
He is fine with other greyhounds he meets on his walk but is still unsure of other breed dogs, so his socialization will need to continue.
