Age: 5 years old
Blinky has settled in well in his new foster home and has adapted to the household routines.
Blinky will be five on Australia Day!
His foster family say that he is a shy boy, who is a bit wary of males and kids and he needs his confidence built up with positive introductions.
He warmed up to his foster carer instantly who says “when you show him that you’re from a kind place”
We are very impressed with his toilet training as he has never had an instance of going indoors and knows to go when outside.
We have been taking him out and about and he really loves walks. We even got him to go for a swim with some encouragement. He is great with water.
He gets along very well with our other greyhound Nobu, which is great, but he won’t really play, it’s more of the classic greyhound standing near each other.
He is energetic when you need him to be and will chase you up and down the yard which he really enjoys.
Blinky is possessive of his treats and balls and does not like sharing them currently. Because of this we respect him, and his personal space and he would not be suitable to a home with small children.
He cries with excitement when we come home and does bark occasionally if a parcel is delivered, but only to let them know he was the boss.
He also does not like cats.
