Meet one of our new boys 2 ½ year old Curly with an update from his foster family!

I can’t believe Curly Wurly has only been with us since Tuesday.
He has been a super star and settled into the home life so well.

Curly is a cuddle monster.
He loves playing with his toys he gets excited and happy – he is full of fun! He loves pats and head scratches.

As he is a big boy, Curls can be pully on the lead when out for walks but calms down within a few minutes and then loves sniffing and weeing on everything. We’ve met a few dogs out walking and while he’s cautious (a bit nervous) he’s excited and I feel with time, training, and more socialising he’ll come round to dogs.

He is VERY food motivated, which is great for training, however some strict rules have put in place when feeding him, he just doesn’t understand what’s mine isn’t his yet, haha.!

Again, with time and training this is super manageable!

He’s been left home alone with his foster brother for a few hours each day and has settled himself, he hasn’t been left alone yet however we will trial that soon!

Curly loves going on his daily walks – one in the morning and one at night and sleeps all through the night, only getting up when it’s walk time!

Curly says I think I would enjoy a human who was home often, but that’s hard to come by! I think if my owner has time to let me settle in and with my alone time slowly extended, I would be ok staying home alone for periods of time!

No cats please!
