Candy and Skipper

Gender: Candy (Female 3 years old)
Skipper (Male 5 years old)

“Meet Bonded pair Candy and Skipper.

They might be bonded but they are two very different dogs!

Skipper is a 5 years and ten months old boy, who will happily sleep all day in the house and will only come running if he thinks he’s missing out on snacks or pats.

Skipper loves his soft and squeaky toys and is content just sitting there chewing. He enjoys going for walks and loves a jog when you run with him.

He’s a lovely older man who will shove his long snoot in your armpits for a nuzzle when he’s happy.

Red fawn Candy girl will be 3 next month, who is a stage 5 clinger. She will follow you anywhere and everywhere and will sook if you’re not paying her enough attention.

She’s a big cuddle bug and will curl up as close to you as possible, if not on top of you.

Candy has mastered the stairs (to the upset of her foster parents) and would join you in bed if you let her. She doesn’t care for soft or squeaky toys.

Their previous owner had young children and the two dogs were apparently great with them, however Candy does get very jumpy and nippy when excited, especially when the family get home.

They both are able to be left alone for up to 9 hours at times.

They would probably suit a home where someone is home more often to pay them attention, or to a family home with slightly older children who can handle to two uncoordinated barrels of excitement that are Skipper and Candy.

No Cat Homes please.

If you would like to meet this gorgeous pair who will be rehomed together or have a chat about them.

Please call one of our lovely adoption coordinators.
