Pippy was was an emergency foster and we quickly went from being on a foster waiting list to meeting our soon-to-be forever little girl.
Upon meeting Pip, she was so sweet straight away, and we had to teach her how yo use the stairs in our apartment. After a few days of training, with a lot of cheese and some amazing help from my greyhound friends, she mastered up and down the stairs in only a week.
We had Pip for 3 weeks before we decided to adopt her. Pip was a huge cuddle bug from day one, but a few months in we started seeing her more playful and energetic side. She loves digging, zoomies, throwing catch (with someone or she plays by herself, it’s very cute), and LOVES food more than anything. She will eat or drink anything (even your beer! So watch it). Pip is the most loving and rewarding companion. I say she rescued us just as much as we rescued her.
A huge thank you to Madi for sharing your “Success Story” with Greyhound Adoptions WA.
