Success Story: Quartz

Quartz came to me unexpectedly 3 years ago as a 10yr old, and I initially said no to fostering her, as I thought I wouldn’t be able to care for her properly. As soon as she walked in the door I knew it was going to be a foster fail!
She was extremely stressed and very shy but soon settled in and knew she was in a safe and loving home.

Quartz loves her own company but has also been extremely accepting of other greys that have come into our house.
We have helped each other out of our respective shells and life is grand.
Quartzy loves to sleep, eat, repeat! She also loves having a brush and scritches behind the ears. She hates leaving the house or getting in the car, and isn’t too fond of new people. If she comes out of the bedroom to see you, you should feel extremely blessed.

Thanks to GAWA for bringing this girl into my life and allowing me to give her lots of love in her ‘old age’ and we will be celebrating her 14th birthday next month with many treats, especially chicken! 💕

A huge thank you to Katharine for sharing your “Success Story” with Greyhound Adoptions WA.
