Meet the gorgeous 3 ½ year old Ted.

We are told by his foster family he is a very gentle dog though fairly large in size.

He has met lots of strangers on his travels and is friendly and approachable just wanting a pat.

He is living with Ace the family male small Jack Russell terrier X and two children aged 6 year and nine years old and is great with them all.

He does get excited when the lead comes out and that is the only time he jumps up on you.

He doesn’t have recall but knows his name is Ted. He walks well on lead and heels on a short lead next to you and has met lots of dogs on walks and is fine having a sniff on lead.

Ted stayed with another foster carer who had a female greyhound and female staffy.
He also met 4 other dogs who visited with no issues, and enjoyed playing the zoomie game outside.

He is a cheeky boy who loves food and will steal if food is left on the counter, so we make sure it’s put away.

We have found that he needs things of his own to chew, so we’ve got him some veggie ears to keep him occupied.

He is home alone from 9-5pm with his foster brother dog Mon-Fri – apart from the odd thing chewed he’s been fine.

He’s dog door trained and has had no accidents inside.

One thing this boy loves is spending time sleeping especially on the couch or bed

To sum up he’s kid friendly, small dog / large dog / grey friendly and hopefully he’ll find his own loving family soon

Not cat tolerant and he has been a bit too interested in birds and the kangaroos!
