Meet 3 ¾ year old Al who has settled in well and has adjusted very quickly to life as a pet enjoying life indoors in a home!

His new favourite day-time sleeping spot is the couch…and being an extra-long dog, this leaves very little room for his foster folks. He shares his foster home with April, and they get on very well at feeding, walking and bed-time.

Al is super friendly with dogs (all types big and small) and humans (all types big and small!!).
He greets them like a real gentleman and isn’t reactive at all. He loves to play with other four-legged pals and isn’t fussy about what breed they happen to be.

Al walks beautifully on a lead however does stop to check out at certain loud 4wd’s before continuing with his sniffari. His attention is sometimes taken by moving bicycles/razor scooters, but this is diminishing the more he is exposed to them.

He is a bit of a puppy at heart and loves to play with his toys. He’s quite happy to entertain himself by throwing them around the lounge room followed up by some spectacular helicopter action 

Al is good with children but is quite large so would need to learn boundaries around smaller children.

We love having Al in our home. He is very affectionate and is responding very well to his name and some basic commands. This would improve over time. He will be a real joy to his lucky forever family.

No cat homes for Al.
