Success Story: Miso

Hi! I’m Miso, formerly known as Ivy. I’ve been living my best life with my adoptive parents for 4 months now and I have to say, I am loving being the centre of their world!

I enjoy following them around and standing in their way if they try to do anything that doesn’t involve me (we are a family now after all!). One of my favorite things to do is snootavise meal preparation times, you just never know when something might fall on the floor requiring a prompt clean up by me. When I realize there is food in my bowl I do my happy dance, jumping for joy and booping the bowl with my nose in the hope some might fall out onto the floor.

I’ve decided I like to share my parent’s coffee, so now I get a bit of foam when they make one, a bit like my own puppachino. I enjoy life’s small pleasures and foamy milk is one of them.

I’m still a little unsure about other humans but my parent’s assure me they are just there to give me a schmako, take in my awesomeness, then go home again. I’m starting to get so brave venturing away from the house, as long as there is cheese on offer to calm my nerves. Sometimes things get a little overwhelming and Dad has to carry me home, we’re just taking things one step at a time, and every step is a big achievement in our world!

Overall, life is great and I am forever thankful for Greyhound Adoptions WA and my foster mum, Jane for helping me find my forever home!

❤️ A huge thank you to Abbie for sharing your “Success Story” with Greyhound Adoptions WA.
