Almost 3 years ago, Coco and Jerry came into my life as first-time greyhound foster babies. Coco and Jerry are a loveable, gentle, affectionate and mesmerising pair. It was a no brainer to adopt them.
Soon after Theo, came along. He was only supposed to be an emergency weekend foster, however, his next foster carer fell through. Theo was anxious in new situations and he had settled into a routine. He has irresistible, soulful eyes which pierced your heart when he stared at you. It seemed unfair to uproot him when he had already been through enough. So he stayed. I was in love again.
I never thought I could fall in love again so quickly after saying goodbye to my previous staffy fur baby only 3 months prior. Coco, Jerry and Theo have made me a better person and definitely bring out the best in me. They have captivated my heart and make me feel complete. They have taught me how to relax, how to be mindful and how to appreciate the simple things in life. I wake up every morning with them by my side and instantly know how lucky I am. I cannot imagine a life without them. For this reason, I had decided to permanently welcome all of them into my family.
Thank you GAWA for bringing this wonderful trio into my life and completely trusting me with such beautiful souls. I promise to protect them, fulfil them and provide them with endless love for the rest of their years.
