Sylas is a handsome, energetic and cheeky boy who has made huge progress since arriving in his loving foster home. He is still putting on weight, eats well and enjoys a variety of foods including chicken and tuna. He hasn’t decided on his favourite treats yet, but enjoys dried chicken tenders.

Sylas can be a little possessive of his treats so his forever family will need to be mindful, Being a younger boy, he enjoys exploring everything he shouldn’t and is still learning boundaries. Typical of a toddler, he will have tantrums if he doesn’t get the attention when he wants! Sylas would be suited to someone who works less hours or works-from-home. His foster carer works full-time and she has noticed he can get a little upset when she leaves, however she believes in time this may settle.

Sylas is not destructive when left alone. He is also not a morning dog and will promptly go back to sleep after his morning walk and breakfast. Sylas would be a good fit for any family type, whether that be a single person, couple, or family with dog-savvy children. Sylas loves his walks in all weather conditions, even the rain! He is very adventurous and loves to explore wherever we end up. He is quite strong willed on the lead so someone that has good control would be best.

Sylas loves the car and enjoys hanging his head out the window. Sylas has no problems with other dogs, big or small, and takes little interest except for the odd sniff hello. He has taken a dislike to larger ‘fluffy’ dogs but is easily distracted and redirected.

Overall, Sylas would make a handsome addition to any home. He is a big, loving boy who will steal your heart!
